Kyle Hammer spends Labor Day weekend with MARS Championship Modifieds
Losing the Labor Day weekend opener at Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway to rain, Kyle Hammer brought out his No. 45 Modified at Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway on Saturday night for the Triple Down Shootout.
Taking a provisional for the $3,000-to-win main event after dealing with mechanical issues, Hammer stormed forward to a Top-10 finish in eighth.
The following night at Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Ill.), Hammer recorded a 14th-place finish in the Plowboy Nationals.
