Hammer lands pair of third-place finishes in weekly events at Farmer City and FALS
Racing in front of friends and family, Kyle Hammer checked into Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway on Friday afternoon for Fan Appreciation Night.
With 17 Late Models on hand, Hammer started fifth in the $1,500-to-win main event and was battling for the lead when he tipped over the cushion. Kyle was able to get back on track and rally for a third-place finish.
The following night at Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway, Kyle joined a field of 26 Late Models and once again started the feature from the third row. Making up two spots, Hammer landed on the podium in third.
