Kyle Hammer visits Jacksonville for Wild Man Kelly Classic
Kyle Hammer returned the driver’s seat of the Brent McKinnon Racing No. 26H Late Model on Friday afternoon at Jacksonville Speedway (Jacksonville, Ill.) for the MARS Championship Series-sanctioned Wild Man Kelly Classic.
In a field of 23 cars, Hammer clocked in fourth-fastest in his group before placing third in his heat. Chasing the $5,000 top prize in the 40-lap feature, Kyle was an early retiree on lap 19.
