Fifth-place finish with World of Outlaws at Tri-City

After wet weather won Wednesday’s Castrol FloRacing Night in America event, Kyle Hammer was one of 29 Late Models entered at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Ill.) on Thursday afternoon for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. For the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series sanctioned program on Friday, Kyle followed up the sixth-fastest lap in his time trial group with a second-place finish in his heat. With $10,000 on the line in the feature, Hammer carried a steady pace in the 40-lap affair to place fifth. He followed Bobby Pierce, Kyle Bronson, Ryan Gustin, and Ryan Unzicker across the line.

Kyle is currently sixth in the latest World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series point standings.
